• Do you only do commercial contract cleaning?

Yes, we only undertake commercial cleaning as we recognise that this requires specialist skills, equipment and expertise. We are able to apply these important factors to various different industries within the commercial sector, and we feel that this dedication and focus offers our customers the best results. The only domestic settings we work in are housing associations or on behalf of landlords.

  • What cleaning services do you offer?

We can offer commercial contract cleaning for almost any commercial environment. This is mostly in offices and includes Coronavirus Cleaning including Fogging Disinfection and Touch-Point Cleaning, deep cleaning, washroom services including sanitary bins, communal area cleaning, janitorial supplies, window cleaning and carpet cleaning.

  • Do you offer any other services?

Yes, we offer a soft washing cleaing service for the exterior of buildings including paved areas and walls.

  • What size of business would you consider?

There is no limit to the size of a business we would consider working in. We work in small offices right the way up to large office complexes. In all cases we will visit your site, and sit down and speak with you prior to entering into any formal agreement, and we will ensure that we can commit the right amount of resource to give you the service and level of excellence you expect.

  • How regularly can you provide cleaning services?

Any cleaning contract that we agree is tailored specifically to your needs, so nothing is set in stone or dictated by us. We have cleaning contracts that require daily cleaning visits and others that are much less frequent. On average, most people require at least a weekly clean, but we are completely flexible and will fit in with your requirements.

  • Can you provide cover for holidays and sickness?

Yes, we can always provide qualified personnel to look after your site in the event of sickness or holiday absence. We have a sufficient supply of trained and experienced staff who we can re-deploy at short notice to be inducted to your site and be ready to maintain your cleaning schedule. This provides you with a continuity of service and ensures your expected level of site hygiene and cleaning continues.

  • What is the minimum and maximum length of contract?

There is no fixed minimum or maximum length of contract, but the cleaning industry standard practice is for a 12-month contract. Most of our customers have been with us for over 5 years, which is above the industry average of 18 months. We deliver consistently superior service levels and our contracts have a 3-month notice period.

  • What is included in the price?

Because we tailor our service to suit your business, there is no standard list of cleaning tasks that we undertake. Effectively, we agree with you what is included, so this may be toilet and washroom cleaning daily, office cleaning weekly, bin emptying daily etc., and you may agree to a deep clean of certain areas on a more infrequent basis. It really is up to you, and we will only agree if we can commit the resources you need for the period of the contract. We also provide close supervision, carry out our own risk assessments applicable to your site and comply with all industry accreditations.

  • What quality checks do you have in place?

Our supervisory staff are always monitoring and assessing the cleaning teams at our various sites across Yorkshire, including Harrogate, Leeds and York, and we can discuss any individual findings with you. We are always looking for effective ways to improve the efficiency of our cleaning methods and systems, and we try to reflect these in the prices we charge you. We also have to work to maintain our various industry accreditations, which again, is reflected in the standard of work you receive.

  • What areas of the country do you cover?

The majority of our contracts are in North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire, including areas such as Harrogate, Leeds, York, Ripon and Skipton. Our reputation is particularly strong in the popular commercial areas of Leeds and Harrogate, and this is where our biggest concentration of resources can be allocated, and if required, on a reactive basis. We are very proud of our roots and to be considered one of the most reliable commercial cleaning companies in Yorkshire.

  • Can I provide feedback on your cleaning services?

Yes, our cleaning staff are always approachable to discuss ongoing work, and it is important that cleaning arrangements are fluid and amended as appropriate, to suit you. You can also speak to our supervisory staff who you will see on site periodically, although, again, they are approachable at all times. We have a testimonials page here on our website where you can see reviews from our many happy clients. We also welcome your feedback and any practical comments on how our services can be improved, so please do contact us.

  • What training do your cleaning staff undertake?

Our staff undertake rigorous induction training upon joining It’s Clean and these standards are regularly monitored by supervisory staff. Where we feel an employee needs specialised training on a specific area we will make immediate arrangements to provide this.

  • Do you subcontract cleaning staff or are they all your own employees?

All the cleaning staff dedicated to your site will be contracted employees of It’s Clean. We believe this is the best way to ensure a high standard of service is maintained and to manage the availability of personnel.

  • What accreditations do you have?

We are SafeContractor and SafePQQ approved, and a corporate member of both the British Institute of Cleaning Science and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). Additionally, our Managing Director, David Whan, is certified as an official Cleaning Industry Management Standard Green Building Certification Expert.

  • Do you use environmentally friendly materials?

We comply with all legislation with regards the use of cleaning materials and aerosols that can be harmful to the environment. We also work to high standards with regards the discharge of materials, energy usage and any recycling requirements. All our staff are trained in health, safety and environmental best practice and we have systems in place to ensure we are up-to-speed with all current industry legislation.

  • Why should I outsource my cleaning to It’s Clean?

By appointing It’s Clean as your contracted commercial cleaner you will be partnering with a commercial cleaning company that has 20 years’ experience cleaning in a wide range of commercial sectors. In addition to this you will avoid all recruitment costs and associated resources, you will have no employment or HR procedures, no costs of employment and you will avoid employment liability. Partnering with It’s Clean will provide you with guaranteed contract cleaning cover for all holiday and sickness periods, a cleaning schedule tailored specifically to your business, no training or management costs and a flexible service which can provide additional cover where required.
